Tiana Nobile


Tiana Nobile has been working in New Orleans public schools for over ten years. Recently named one of The Gambit's "40 Under 40," she has worked as a paraprofessional, lead classroom teacher, arts integration specialist, and teaching artist. Currently, she teaches in a collaborative artist residency at ISL – Uptown and facilitates professional development workshops on effectively integrating poetry and visual art with academic curriculum. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College, MAT in Elementary and Special Education from the University of New Orleans, and an MFA in Poetry from Warren Wilson College. As a poet, her work has been published widely, and she is the author of Cleave, which was released by Hub City Press in 2021.
