Student Artists at ReNEW Sci-Tech and Schaumburg spent the semester learning with and through 4 important Elements of Art: Line, Shape, Color, and Texture. By exploring the ways we can express our ideas and emotions through art, we created multiple pieces to support our goal-setting for the year. We practiced making choices, sorting shapes and colors, experiencing textures to decide if they made use feel uncomfortable or comfortable, identifying things that are the same & different, and learning about the ways that our art can be unique even when we use the same materials.
