Conflict Management Through Drama | Conflict/Anger Management
Many sources of conflict (interpersonal and societal) may never be resolved, but they can ALL be better managed. Drama/Theatre strategies and techniques allow participants to distance themselves from actual conflicts while fostering meaningful investment in managing positive outcomes and building resiliency. In this series of workshops, participants will learn how to use Drama/Theatre strategies (i.e. pantomime, tableau, and improvisation) to explore conflict management, anger management, and connect leadership qualities to group dynamics. Participants will receive guidance in brainstorming and defining conflict, types of conflict, and effective conflict management skills. Additionally, they will make connections between conflict and anger management by identifying anger triggers, behavioral responses, and consequences.
