She says this specific feeling can be one word, but for her it's millions since there are millions of emotions poured into every single painting, song, dance, and writing. She also loves to take photos of people when they are happy because a simple smile is just as valuable as art. Yes, think about it!

About: Ani Young was born in New Orleans March 10th, 2008, after Hurricane Katrina, meaning that she did not get to experience the world as her parents did. Even though they did sports, her parents’ generation were outside kids, the city was full of a whole bunch black kids who were comfortable and knew each other well. Now, the only past time she has is to play sports (track & field and tennis if you’re curious). She lives in a city that is undergoing current gentrification and has a heavy police force that would arrest her for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It does not help that she is a radicalist. Ani looks up to icons like Angela Davis and Malcolm X while also attending protests at the governor's office for the Freedom of Palestine, the re-introduction of Gay rights, and she promotes anti-capitalist ideals. When she is not being a baby activist, she is attending ballet shows and watching musicals on illegal websites while crocheting bags and knitting sweaters. Ani loves the art of crafting and the promotion of human’s rights, and can’t wait to be more involved in her community so she can share her art and plan with them.
