Join us for ART JAM, a FREE celebration of creativity, community, and learning for the whole family!

Spend the morning exploring hands-on art activities, live performances, creative workshops, community organizations, and more as KID smART brings artists, performers, youth groups, and New Orleans families together for a joyful celebration of creativity.

What to Expect

Enjoy a full morning of indoor and outdoor programming beginning at 10:15 AM, featuring local artists, performers, youth groups, and community organizations.

Live performances and programming will include:

• T-Ray the Violinist

• Dancing Grounds youth performers

• Waldorf School student performances

• behR Connect movement performance

• Mudlark Puppeteers

• Samantha King Read Aloud / Workshop

• One Mind Brass Band closing performance

• Young Starz and more!

Explore creative activities and connect with community partners including Art Camp 504, NOLA Artist Incubators, Whole Village Art Therapy, New Orleans Public Library, Glass Roots, Pixie Dust, Cupcake Fairies, Community Book Center, Twinimation, and more!

The morning will culminate with an outdoor closing performance by One Mind Brass Band, followed by time to browse community tables, participate in art activities, connect with local artists and organizations, and enjoy music as we wrap up the celebration.

ART JAM is free and open to all ages.
