Upcoming Workshops: Using Arts Integration to Increase Literacy Rates

As a non-profit organization, one of our main goals is to help increase literacy rates in our community. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of in-person workshops in partnership with Kay Fennelly that will use arts integration pedagogy to help improve reading and writing skills.

Arts integration is a teaching method that combines traditional academic lessons with artistic expression, such as music, dance, and visual arts. Research has shown that this method can be highly effective in helping students develop literacy skills, creativity, and critical thinking.

Our workshops will be open to a limited number of participants, with a cap of 30 people per workshop. Each workshop will last for two hours, and participants will receive $50 for attending.

Whether you’re a classroom teacher, an arts specialist, or an administrator, these workshops will provide you with the tools, strategies, and inspiration you need to improve literacy in the classroom. We believe that arts integration can help create a fun and engaging learning environment that will inspire participants to become more confident and proficient readers and writers.

We encourage participants to register promptly to secure a spot, as we expect these workshops to fill up quickly. Simply click the images below to register and learn more.

We believe that by working together, we can help make a real difference in our community. We are excited to share the benefits of arts integration with you, and to help improve literacy rates in our community!
